At BacklinkVault™, we stand behind the quality of our digital products. We want every customer to be fully satisfied with their purchase. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds may be issued for our digital products.
Key Point: BacklinkVault™ products are digital goods delivered instantly via email as Google Sheets access links. Since the product is fully accessible immediately upon delivery, refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis with specific conditions outlined below.
02 Nature of the Product
BacklinkVault™ sells digital databases in the form of Google Sheets containing curated lists of backlink sites for SEO purposes. Please understand the following about our products:
- Instant Delivery: Products are delivered immediately after successful payment via email containing Google Sheets access links
- Non-Tangible: Our products are digital in nature and cannot be "returned" in the traditional sense
- Immediate Access: Once the Google Sheets link is delivered, the buyer has full and immediate access to the complete product
- Non-Revocable Content: The data within the sheets (website URLs, DA scores, categories) can be viewed, copied, or downloaded instantly upon access
Important: Due to the instant-access nature of digital products, all sales are generally considered final once the product has been accessed. Refund requests are evaluated under the specific conditions described in this policy.
03 Refund Eligibility
We offer a conditional 7-day refund window from the date of purchase. Refund requests must meet ALL of the following criteria:
Eligible for Refund
- Request is made within 7 calendar days of the purchase date
- The buyer provides a valid reason for dissatisfaction (see qualifying reasons below)
- The buyer has not downloaded, copied, duplicated, or redistributed any data from the Google Sheets
- The buyer agrees to have their access to the Google Sheets revoked upon refund approval
- It is the buyer's first purchase and first refund request with BacklinkVault™
Qualifying Reasons for Refund
- Product is substantially different from what was described on the website
- Product file is corrupt, inaccessible, or cannot be opened
- Duplicate purchase (buyer accidentally purchased the same product twice)
- Technical issues that prevent the buyer from accessing the Google Sheets after multiple troubleshooting attempts
04 Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will NOT be granted in the following situations:
- Buyer's Remorse: Change of mind after accessing the product is not grounds for a refund
- Already Accessed & Used: If the buyer has viewed, copied, downloaded, or used data from the Google Sheets extensively
- Expectation Mismatch: If the buyer expected something not mentioned or promised on our website (e.g., expecting the sites to guarantee rankings, expecting live/active backlinks rather than a database of sites)
- Third-Party Issues: Problems caused by the buyer's own device, browser, internet connection, or Google account settings
- After 7 Days: Any refund request made after the 7-day window has elapsed
- Repeated Refund Requests: If the buyer has previously purchased and received a refund from BacklinkVault™
- Redistribution or Sharing: If the buyer has shared, redistributed, resold, or made the product available to any third party
- Chargebacks without Contact: If the buyer initiates a chargeback/dispute with their bank or payment provider without first contacting us for resolution

- "I bought the Starter tier but I actually needed Pro. Can I get a refund and repurchase?" — Yes, we'll refund Starter and you can buy Pro
- "The Google Sheets link isn't working and I can't access it." — Yes, we'll fix or refund
✕ Not Eligible Example
- "I already used 200 sites from the list but want my money back." — No, product was used
- "I thought the sites would auto-build backlinks for me." — No, product works as described
05 How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, follow these steps:
- Step 1: Email us at mitrsarthi@gmail.com with the subject line: "Refund Request — [Your Payment ID]"
- Step 2: Include your full name, email used during purchase, Razorpay Payment ID (found in your purchase confirmation email), and the specific reason for your refund request
- Step 3: Our team will review your request within 2-3 business days
- Step 4: If approved, your Google Sheets access will be revoked first, and then the refund will be initiated
- Step 5: Refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days (processing time depends on your bank/payment provider)
Access Revocation: Upon refund approval, your access to the Google Sheets will be removed before the refund is processed. This is a mandatory step and cannot be negotiated. By requesting a refund, you agree to this condition.
06 Anti-Abuse & Fraud Prevention
We take product theft and refund abuse seriously. To protect the integrity of our products and business:
- We monitor Google Sheets access logs, including which accounts accessed the sheet, when, and what actions were taken
- Refund requests from accounts that have accessed, downloaded, or copied significant portions of the data will be denied
- Buyers who initiate fraudulent chargebacks will be permanently banned and reported to Razorpay's fraud prevention system
- We reserve the right to deny refund requests that appear to be made in bad faith or as an attempt to obtain the product for free
- Repeated purchase-and-refund cycles from the same person, email, device, or IP address will be flagged and denied
Chargeback Warning: If you file a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank without contacting us first, we will provide transaction evidence to Razorpay and your bank. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in additional fees being passed to the buyer, blacklisting from future purchases, and reporting to fraud prevention databases.
07 Cancellation Policy
Since BacklinkVault™ is a one-time purchase with instant delivery (not a subscription), the concept of "cancellation" applies only in limited circumstances:
- Before Payment Completion: You may cancel at any time during the Razorpay checkout process by closing the payment window. No charges will be made
- After Payment Completion: Once payment is successfully processed and the product email is sent, the order cannot be "cancelled." It can only be subject to a refund request as described in this policy
- Failed Payments: If a payment fails or is declined, no order is created, no product is delivered, and no charges are applied
No Subscription = No Recurring Charges: BacklinkVault™ is a one-time purchase. You will never be charged again for the same product. There are no hidden fees, auto-renewals, or subscription traps.
08 Upgrades & Tier Changes
If you purchased a lower tier and wish to upgrade:
- Upgrade Path: Contact us at mitrsarthi@gmail.com within 30 days of your original purchase. We'll issue a partial credit toward the higher tier so you only pay the difference
- Downgrade: Downgrades are not available as all products are instantly delivered and non-returnable
- Duplicate Purchase: If you accidentally purchased the same tier twice, contact us for a full refund of the duplicate charge
09 Consumer Rights & Governing Law
This Refund & Cancellation Policy is governed by the laws of India, including but not limited to:
- The Consumer Protection Act, 2019
- The Information Technology Act, 2000
- The Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020
As per Indian consumer protection regulations for digital goods, our refund policy accounts for the unique nature of instantly-delivered digital products where the consumer receives full access to the product immediately upon purchase. The Consumer Protection Act recognizes that digital goods with instant access have inherently different return characteristics than physical products.
Any disputes arising from this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Delhi, India.
